A great movie unites friends and family in front of the screen with a bucket of popcorn. It helps to relax after the tough day.

In our selection today we have chosen seven diverse films, which might turn your regular week into the cinematic one. So, call your most favourite people and watch something new together every day.

Monday with a comedy – «Isn’t it romantic?»

Monday evening plus romcoms is a match made in heaven. A simple plot and a well-deserved happy ending work as a stress relief medicine against the first working day’s anxiety.

The main character of the film, Natalie, does not believe in romance and makes fun of sentimental dramas. So, naturally, she must be the one, who gets caught into the alternative reality that operates based on the laws of romantic comedies.

The screenwriters have managed to bring together all the existing genre clichés and banalities: muscular male characters; Broadway-style dancing; perfect picture and endless summer. In the end, we got an ultimate high-quality parody of all the well-known romcoms.

Tuesday with a drama – «The Age of Adaline»

Eternal life might promise one lots of perks, except for the most important – it will not give you love. Adaline – is a beautiful young woman, who has been blessed with a wonderful gift of eternal youth. She travels from one place to another, trying to avoid being recognized and suspected of not getting even a bit older. But one day she meets a man, who is worth abandoning her immortality. How could she arrange that – we will find that out on Tuesday.

Wednesday with an action – «Black Panther»

One of the finest representatives of the Marvel cinematic universe, «Black Panther» – is a superhero fantasy cinema. The action movie is what might actually give you a little shake on the third day of the working week.

An African country of Wakanda is in a possession of a giant secret – the deposits of a unique metal called vibranium, which is dangerous enough to threaten the world’s peace and stability. Wakanda’s king, bearing his own superpowers, tries to protect the precious deposits from selfish visitors.

Thursday with a detective – «Knives Out»

«You might need to give it a thought» is a tagline for our cinematic Thursday. A well-known writer, rich and famous by all means, has a big 85th birthday celebration with the closest relatives. And the day after he is found dead. The investigation proves that while every member of the family had a solid reason to kill the man, the clue is not as obvious as it may seem.

Friday with a family movie – «A Dog’s Purpose»

Friday is a day when it is quite common for the families to gather in front of a TV. So today we watch a well-crafted film about real values. 

The movie’s main character is a dog (golden retriever). He tries to discover his purpose over several lifetimes, being able to remember all the previous lives and owners. His fifth rebirth leads to the decision to find one of his human friends – the boy named Ethan, who had grown into an adult by then. This amazing heart-warming and emotional movie fully reveals the purpose of any living creature  – to find love, friends, and family.

Saturday with a horror – «Fantasy Island»

If you consider intaking a tiny horror movie adrenaline pill, Saturday is the day. There is still plenty of time before Monday comes  – you will surely calm down by then.

«Be careful what you wish for, you might just get it» represents the main idea of the «Fantasy Island». A group of young people comes to a deserted tropical island, following the invitation of a mysterious owner, who also promises to fulfil one wish for each of them. And though at first, the plan seems harmless, shortly afterwards it becomes clear, that the only ultimate fantasy of the heroes is to stay alive and get out of the island.

Sunday with an animated film – «Coco»

Before the new working week officially kicks off, everybody needs a strong optimism and positivity overload. And thus, for the marathon grand finale, we chose a Disney animated fantasy about family values and the importance of pursuing your dream no matter what others think or do.

Little Miguel loves music and wants to make a profession out of his passion. Yet his family strictly forbids it and tries to stop him. On the day when Mexicans honour the deceased relatives, Miguel is magically transported to the Land of the Dead, where he meets his musical idol and asks for guidance.
